May 2012 - The German guitarist Stefan Schmitz has launched his third solo CD, titled Eterna Saudade. A combination of pure classical guitar sound and jazzy rhythms. On this CD you can hear compositions by amongst others Dilermando Reis, Roland Dyens, Francisco Tarrega and Dusan Bogdanovic.
Armrest for classical guitars
These days, Bert Kwakkel increasingly integrates armrests into his concert guitars. An armrest offers several advantages:
- Sharp angle eliminated for even more playing comfort
- Right arm no longer damps the top
- Right arm slides naturally,
which stimulates playing with tone coloring
There are three types of armrests:
