August 2011 - Bert Kwakkel joined the Open Day at the pleasant West Dean Guitar Festival 2011. In a very friendly atmosphere a lot of classical guitarists with complete different background came together to get lessons from famous guitarists and to hear them playing recitals as well.
Armrest for classical guitars
These days, Bert Kwakkel increasingly integrates armrests into his concert guitars. An armrest offers several advantages:
- Sharp angle eliminated for even more playing comfort
- Right arm no longer damps the top
- Right arm slides naturally,
which stimulates playing with tone coloring
There are three types of armrests:
- body height increased
