Stefan Schmitz
Stefan Schmitz (1976) took his first guitar lessons from G.M. Schillings. Later on he studied with a.o. Prof. J. Rost, Prof. J. Clerch and Carlo Marchione. He won prizes in international competitions in a.o. Rome, Koblenz and Kutna-Hora (CZ). Stefan Schmitz' extensive concert activities in Europe resulted in invitations to the "Young Artists in Concert"-series in Rio de Janeiro and to concerts in Japan.
Stefan Schmitz plays a Bert Kwakkel Concert Guitar type Merula Special with spruce top from 2007.
