John Feeley
The international acclaimed virtuoso John Feeley has performed with many of the world's leading orchestras and at many international guitar festivals. Also in great demand as a teacher and currently Lecturer in Guitar at the Conservatory of Music, Dublin. At the age of 17, John Feeley was already considered by many to be one of the finest musicians in Europe on the electric guitar. He studied with Oscar Ghiglia, Angel Romero and David Russel. In addition to the wider classical repertoire, he is genuinely passionate about his country's music. His charming original compositions of Irish music have won him recognition around the world.
In 2003 Bert Kwakkel made a classical concert guitar type Merula with spruce top for John Feeley.
