Groningen Guitar Duo
The Dutch guitarists Remco de Haan and Erik Westerhof established the Groningen Guitar Duo in 1980, while they were studying under Willem van Lier at the Groningen Academy of Music in the Netherlands. Both graduated in 1983 and have since then built up an international career for themselves. Although they were regarded as one of the leading guitar ensembles, they decided to stop their concert activities a few years ago.
