Vadim Chebanov

 

Vadim Chebanov started to play the guitar at the age of 10. He studied at the Russian Academia of Music named after Gnesins (Moscow, professor A. Frauchi). Vadim Chebanov has won several international competitions in Russia. After several TV-recordings of his playing have been regularly broadcasted, he performed a lot of solo recitals in Russia and in other countries. He took part in a lot of festivals, with orchestras, in duos and trios with different instruments. Besides that Vadim Chebanov is permanently experimenting with playing different styles of music on the guitar (flamenco, jazz, fusion, romances, rock and pop music).

Vadim Chebanov plays a Bert Kwakkel Concert Guitar type Merula Special with spruce top, made in 2009.
